We’re experience exciting commercial growth and need to scale rapidly – that’s why we’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Head of Finance to lead our financial operations and help shape the future of our company.

What will you do

As Head of Finance, you’ll be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for building and leading the finance function from the ground up. You’ll play a critical role in strategic decision-making, financial reporting, and financial planning. At the same time, you won’t shy away from rolling up your sleeves to handle day-to-day financial operations as needed.

You will work from our headquarter in central Copenhagen.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership: Partner with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Build and manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
Accounting & Compliance: Oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance with IFRS, tax and regulatory requirements, and manage external audits.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and optimize cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
Hands-On Financial Operations: Take ownership of core finance tasks such as:
- Managing and updating budget and forecast files
- Supporting or performing accrual basis accounting and reconciliations
- Preparing monthly financial reports and dashboards
- Coordinating with external accountants or bookkeeping services
- Ensure timely delivery of monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to the parent Society, consistently meeting all required deadlines.

Team Building: Hire and lead a high-performing finance team as the company grows.
- Foster strong working relationships with the parent Society finance team to support shared financial goals
Systems & Tools: Implement scalable financial systems, tools, and processes to support rapid growth.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment
Strong understanding of SaaS, e-commerce, or tech business models
Experience with board reporting
Willingness to be hands-on and take ownership of both strategic and operational finance tasks
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus but not required
Excellent communication skills
