Senior Frontend Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with a passion for UI development to join our team in Copenhagen and help us build the next-generation platform for our +280,000 researchers. It offers core business services for publishers, institutions, funders, and researchers.

What will you do

You will join our strong tech team, which drives our digital development projects. As the Senior Frontend Developer, you will develop new features to ensure the scalability and automation of the systems and support our customers and users. In cooperation with the teams, you will refine, estimate, develop, test, and document the features we develop for our customers.

We're seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with a strong interest in UI development. You'll collaborate closely with our UX team in this role to create scalable, user-friendly interfaces. You will also work on refining and expanding our design system to ensure consistency across our platform and implement new features.

You will work from our headquarter in central Copenhagen.

The skills we are looking for are:

Key requirements we're looking for:

4+ years of professional experience with Frontend development
A desire to learn is a must
Ready to take on challenges, which are sometimes outside of your current skillset
Solid understanding of UI and UX
Experience with building responsive applications with HTML and CSS
Experience with CSS preprocessors (preferably SCSS)
Solid understanding of JavaScript
Able to give and receive feedback
Fluent in English orally and in writing

Following is an advantage, but not a hard requirement:

Experience with building CSS animations
Experience with Vue JS
Experience with Typescript
