ChronosHub launches new unified user experience platform for publishers

Event duration May 29, 2024
Event location Copenhagen, Denmark

Copenhagen, Denmark– ChronosHub is excited to announce the launch of a new author interface, designed to significantly enhance the author experience throughout the entire publishing process. Building on ChronosHub’s platform for publishers, this innovative interface serves as a unified solution, seamlessly integrating all of a publisher’s author-facing systems to provide a consistent and streamlined experience.

At the heart of the launch is the new ChronosHub author dashboard. This centralized hub provides authors with a single place for accessing all publisher interactions, integrating data from existing ChronosHub publisher modules as well as other selected systems.

Each publisher has their own instance on the ChronosHub platform, so what is presented to authors in their ChronosHub author dashboard is unique for each publisher and configured depending on the underlying systems and integrations set up. That could include peer review, payment or production systems.

Christian Grubak, Founder and Co-CEO of ChronosHub, says: “Many publishers use legacy systems that are not fit for today’s users. What we offer is a way to keep existing solutions and put a new, innovative layer on top to enhance the experience. This allows publishers to maximize on their investments.”

The platform is built to meet accessibility standards and is fully responsive, ensuring it can be used on mobile devices and tablets.

We are committed to our mission. Currently, several exciting features are in development such as the inclusion of other user roles like reviewers and editors, so we can serve authors in all their roles. This is only the beginning.

ChronosHub’s current services for publishers include a pre-submission Journal Guide, a submission interface, and post-acceptance article processing where authors can determine their final publishing choice, sign their publishing agreement and pay any author charges.
