Global Campus x ChronosHub

Catch the mismatch before it costs you

ChronosHub and Global Campus have partnered to check every manuscript’s scope and journal fit at presubmission.
A ranked, scored result lands directly inside the editorial workflow you already use, before an editor ever opens the manuscript. Authors get the same signal early enough to redirect to a better-fit journal, before they lose time on a submission that was never going to land.

Where manuscript intelligence meets editorial workflow

Global Campus built a platform that matches manuscripts to journals, reviewers, and collaborators, work that’s already helped publishers, funders, and institutions find the right fit faster.

A fit check only earns its value if it reaches the workflow while a mismatch is still cheap to fix, before an editor invests time, and while the author can still redirect. ChronosHub delivers it there. Global Campus runs the check.

We’ve always believed our matching technology could help authors find their best-fit journal. We just hadn’t found the right moment in the workflow to deliver it. Partnering with ChronosHub means we can finally put that intelligence exactly where it’s needed: at the point of presubmission.

FAQs

Does this replace our editorial system?
No. Your existing editorial workflow stays exactly as it is. Global Campus’s fit check runs before submission and returns its result into the workflow you already use.

Do authors need to do anything different?
No. Authors submit as normal. The fit check runs in the background at presubmission.

What does the fit check actually return?
A ranked list of journals with a bounded fit score for each, so editors see fit assessed at intake instead of discovering a mismatch weeks later.

What’s the commercial model?
There’s no integration fee from ChronosHub. Global Campus contracts directly with the publisher and sets its own pricing.

How long does a pilot run?
Up to 8 weeks, from kickoff to outcome decision, with one midpoint check-in.

What do we need to provide to pilot?
One named editorial contact, a defined portfolio or submission flow, and access to recent submission and desk-rejection data, so results are measured against a real baseline rather than estimated after the fact.
