ChronosHub wins gold at the SSP 2026 EPIC Awards

We’re thrilled to share that ChronosHub won the gold EPIC Award in the Other Tools/Products category at the 2026 SSP Annual Meeting, recognizing our work developing Publishing Center for American Chemical Society (ACS).
The award recognizes innovative technologies that significantly contribute to the publishing process, and it’s a win we’re proud to share with our partners at ACS.
Publishing Center is a unified author interface that brings together all of a publisher’s author-facing systems in one place. Instead of navigating multiple platforms, authors can view notifications and manage actions from submission through to publication in a single experience. And they’ve felt the difference: 86% rated the submission experience as “easy” or “very easy,” with one simply saying: “Never submitted a manuscript faster than today.”
Our Director of Publisher Relations, Chuck Hemenway, was on stage to accept the award on the night. “It was an honor to accept this on behalf of both teams. ChronosHub and ACS have built something special together, and having the wider community recognize that was truly meaningful.”
The EPIC Awards recognize remarkable teams and individuals across publishing, information technology, and communications for their contributions to scholarly communication. To be recognized by our peers means a great deal to everyone involved.
Thank you to SSP for a fantastic evening. The trophy made it safely back to Copenhagen HQ.
